Traffic jams, tooting horns, tuk tuks, buses, scooters and even a camel...and that was just on the way home from our shopping experience. After a relaxed afternoon and meeting of new Lilly colleagues Kimber and Anne from the US, we ventured off on a mini adventure to procure traditional indian clothing - items required...Salwar Kameez. This was an overwhelming experience to say the least. Beautiful colours, styles, sleeve length, tops which match bottoms, bottoms to match the scarves, lots of people and minimal change rooms. Good news peeps, I'm kitted out and sporting a salwar kameez for today's sightseeing and cultural session.
Last night's dinner was delicious. Good thing I love curry.
First night's sleep was a good one. Up this morning for a light walk around the apartment block property...not outside the boundary and a few yoga postures. Sharing a room with Anne and Kimber. Late last night with welcomed Lilly colleagues Jay, Tina and her mum Christine.
